I know we only have to choose one topic to blog about, but i like these two best:
I have a couple of ideas i would like to write about. Being a caffeine drinker, i would like to write about the effects it has on the body. That way it might make me stop drinking so much. I drink alot of it, but when i'm at work were only allowed to have water on the floor so i drink that. Another thing i was thinking about was alchol and the effects it has on the fetus. There are many people out there that are alcholics and can't stop. Some of them are pregnant. So what effects would this have on an unborn baby? There's alot of good ideas, i just have to pick one topic.
I love being an online student. It gives me time to be at my kids school functions, and it lets me work in my schedule. Not too many employers go by your schedule for work, and mine does. Before i started here, i was looking at my local college. They didn't have the schedule i wanted, but they did however have one course a month. Which would have worked out. But not worth the time because of the drive. The only thing i don't like and some of you have read my posts, is the flexible seminars. I don't like them. I'm fighting with my other class because of a supposively missed seminar. Which i was at. The only good thing about flex. seminars is there are different times. Which also works out. When people ask me where i attend school at i proudly say Kaplan. Then they want to know more. I love this school.

Hello Sherry, my name is Nichole and I have just read your unit 3 blog. I also love attending school online for some of the same reasons that you do. I love the flexibility as well as the responsibility of getting all my assignments done on time. We are adults and the fact that no one is standing over our heads nagging us to do this and that is how it's suppose to be. I am also not to fond of the flex seminars, although the different times are a plus, I am a creature of habit. So having a set time for my seminar was working just fine for me. But hey you have to take the good with the bad, you seem like you have your head in the right place so good luck with everything. I do have a facebook page so I will look you up.
ReplyDeleteHi Nichole! Thanks for posting. I think i'm just going to go to the seminar that our professor teaches,lol sometimes it can be confusing having to remember all these times and what not. I do have a facebook, go ahead and look me up. In my picture, it's kind of dark.. if that helps. Good luck to you as well!
